What we loved about Mansion in May
The 2023 Mansion in May designer showcase was back and better than ever this year at Three Fields in Mendham, NJ. Our design team, including A&R founder Adrienne Rich, recently attended the designer showcase, which is a fundraiser organized by The Women's Association for Morristown Medical Center. What were Adrienne’s takeaways from the showcase?
Lot of texture! We saw everything from wicker and seagrass to grasscloth-wrapped pieces of furniture. It was wonderful to see all the texture coming back into style.
Murals and block printed wallcovering scenes with greenery, birds and butterflies.
Lot of warm colors! earth tone, russet, orange, sage green, copper-tones all gave the home very inviting vibes. There were also a few surprise colors like hot pink and orange too!
Birds galore! …in figures, wall coverings, and fabrics. And florals…in artwork and installations
Statement-making lighting fixtures
French country touches such as in the kitchen, yet with modern amenities
